BFFS Regional Groups
There is a limit to the level of hands-on support that a national organisation can give directly to an individual film society. BFFS has always maintained a number of Regional Groups, and for those societies that are within active BFFS regions, the quality and extent of grass-roots support is greatly increased.
This additional help can include regional viewing sessions and other events, block-booking schemes, equipment loan, and a network of advisors to give practical and moral support, and technical assistance.
In general, BFFS's regions correspond to the regional boundaries of the UK's Regional Screen Agencies. However, where there is no currently active BFFS group in a region, then a neighbouring established group may look after societies outside its boundaries on a temporary basis.
The menu to the left gives access to pages for the active regions of BFFS, and to each region's own website. Use them to find out what help and support they can give you.
