ICO Screening Days
18th-20th April 2009. BFI Southbank, London
Over 50 Film Societies and Community Cinemas made their way to the BFI Southbank on a gloriously sunny April weekend to catch up on forthcoming releases. BFFS were on hand to provide advice and support in addition to previewing forthcoming Block Booking title Cherry Blossoms. One of the favourites of the weekend, Cherry Blossoms scored a fantastic 76.6% in the Audience Reaction Index, placing it in the top 4 films of the weekend. Top of the polls was the Werner Herzog documentary Encounters at the End of the World - a hauntingly beautiful study of life in the Antarctic.
