Back in February, we asked you to send us your thoughts and concerns about the switchover to digital and how it might affect your organisation. The result is the BFFS Digital Discussion Paper, which is now available to download.

The paper presents a range of thoughts about:

  • the possible impact of recent developments in digital distribution and exhibition on the film society and community cinema sector
  • the likely demand among film societies and community cinemas for digital downloading and D-Cinema in future.

The paper draws upon input from 27 film societies who responded and sets out some of the main issues surrounding digital downloading and D-Cinema.
