The BFFS National Conference Weekend is the best place to get together, share ideas and celebrate the hard work of film societies and community cinemas over the past 12 months. SATURDAY (9am-8pm)

  • Key Note Speech: David Cooke, Director of BBFC will talk to us about the important work the BBFC does and how classification has changed over the years.
  • Films: In Love with Alma Cogan including a Q&A with writer/director Tony Britten +  a very special secret screening from a critically acclaimed festival favourite. Not to be missed!
  • Panel sessions: Exploring Alternative Content + Making and Screening Your Own Films
  • The Film Society of the Year Awards 2012: announced by special guest Amanda Nevill, Chief Executive of the BFI
  • + lots of networking opportunities.
