Bookings are now open for the fourth National Conference for Community Cinemas, which will take place on the weekend of Saturday 18 - Sunday 19 September at the Institut Français, South Kensington, London.

This year’s conference will be an exciting event, packed with plenty of films, training sessions and networking opportunities for you and your fellow volunteers. With the focus on Film Education, you will have the opportunity to experience and discuss a range of educational activities available to you and your community cinema that will kick-start or benefit your existing education activities.

  • Film Society of the Year Awards presented by Francine Stock – writer, broadcaster and presenter of Radio 4’s The Film Programme

The BFFS National Conference is the only national event dedicated to the needs and interests of film societies and not-for-profit community cinemas. It is your annual opportunity to get together, share ideas and celebrate community exhibition.
