BFFS is a registered charity committed to education, training and research to support and develop the community cinema movement, in such a way as to deliver maximum public value, and to bring the greatest benefit to the greatest number.

This page gives you access to BFFS's developing Education, Training and Research policy, which is currently under review and will be articulated in more detail by mid-October. It describes the rationale underpinning the forthcoming policy, and shows what events we are currently organizing. It also outlines, in each case, what we will do if we manage to secure funding for an expanded programme.

It gives details of current and proposed research programmes (the outcomes of which will be reported fully on this site). And it lists the education and training materials which BFFS has produced to date, on a voluntary basis, and those which it will produce if it is successful in securing funding. All BFFS education and training materials all available free to download for everybody, and it is our intention that they shall remain so.
