BFFS Yorkshire Group
The Yorkshire Group is an active and thriving group where dedicated volunteers work hard to deliver key support to film societies and community cinemas across England’s largest county. The Group publishes an annual brochure publicising the film programmes of community exhibitors in Yorkshire. This plays a key role in raising the profile of the film society and community cinema movement and crucially keeps people informed about what’s on. The Group receives funding from the Regional Screen Agency, Screen Yorkshire.
The Yorkshire Regional Group delivers the following services:
- Annual Regional Viewing Sessions and Residential Film Weekend
- Equipment loan and technical support, including trial and special screenings
- Regional Block-Booking scheme
- Key operational support and advice to new groups
